Dr. Astrid Clarke was raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada where she attended McGill University and received her Bachelor’s and completed her premedical studies, graduating with honors. Dr. Clarke obtained her medical degree at New York Medical College. She completed her residency at Bridgeport Hospital and Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Clarke has a very welcoming and compassionate personality which shines through in her patient provider relationships. With over 20 years as a physician, she knows that being ill can be stressful and through her care and empathy makes her patience feel at ease. Dr. Clarke’s kind heart is represented in her personal life as well where she has worked in foster care to help children in need.
Her time away from the office is spent traveling, learning about other cultures and playing violin in symphony orchestras. She is fluent in multiple languages like, French, Italian, and Spanish. She enjoys volunteering in the community and helping those in need.
Dr. Clarke is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
