Dr. Dobies graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Slippery Rock University in 1981. From there, he earned his M.D. from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 1982. Dr. Dobies completed his Internal Medicine Residency, as well as his first Cardiology Fellowship, at St. John Hospital in Detroit prior to completing his second Cardiology Fellowship at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1992.
Dr. Dobies’ career encompasses about 20 years of experience in the medical field. He has served as a house physician for St. John Hospital from 1988 to 1993 and has also acted as an active staff member for North Hills Suburban Cardiovascular Associates, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and the Florida Hospital.
Most recently, he has served at Flagler Hospital as well as his own private practice since 1995. Dr. Dobies will be seeing patients at our St. Augustine office.
