Michelle Casto, APRN

Michelle Casto, APRN, is a compassionate nurse practitioner with over eight years of experience in the medical field. She specializes in primary care, preventive health, and chronic disease management. Michelle brings a patient-centered approach to every visit, focusing on personalized care, medication management, and health education.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2015. She was also inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her nursing education began with an Associate of Science in Nursing from St. Johns Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University.

Michelle sees patients at Island Doctors’ Central Palatka location in Putnam County, Florida. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked in critical care for several years, serving as an ICU nurse and unit manager at Putnam County Medical Center.

She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed through the Florida Board of Nursing. Michelle remains dedicated to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based, compassionate care.
