Dr. Meyers graduated medical school from the University of Miami in 1983. Following medical school, he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Worcester Memorial Hospital in 1986, as well as his fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital in 1988. Dr. Meyers received his medical/DEA license in 1988.
With over 20 years of experience in his field, Dr. Meyers founded, directed, and owned various medical practices and businesses such as the Cardiology Clinic of Florida, 21st Century Medical Scanning, and GAHTAA-1 LLC. He has also served as a managing physician and bariatrician with U.S. Bariatrics, a medical director for Continucare, and the regional medical director for the Mid-South Region of Humana. Additionally, Dr. Meyers has taught as an adjunct and visiting professor of nursing and value-based care at the University of Tennessee School of Nursing and the Loyola Marymount University School of Nursing. Recently, he completed Humana’s Executive Development Program in 2017 and has written a variety of medical articles for LinkedIn. Dr. Meyers sees patients at our South Daytona and Beville Road offices.
