Dr. Rogelio J. Gamad is a compassionate, board-certified family physician, with over 40 years of experience in hospital and clinical settings. He is highly dedicated to providing medical care and promoting wellness to generations of families.
He received his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas, School of Medicine, Manila, Philippines in 1965, and went on to his medical internship at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, NJ from 1965 – 1967. He participated in his first family practice residency at Maryview Hospital in Portsmouth, VA in 1968 and then relocated to Augusta, GA form 1969 – 1971 to work as a U.S. Army M.D. at Fort Gordon military base. After completing a final family practice residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Flint, MI, he spent two years working at the Raleigh Boone Medical Center in Whitesville, West Virginia, before relocating to Panama City, FL.
From 1975, until joining Island Doctors in 2019, Dr. Gamad has devoted his medical career to being a family medicine physician at The Family Clinic Private Practice in Panama City and being recognized as a respected member of Gulf Coast Hospital and Bay Sacred Heart Hospital.
