Edel Herranz, APRN

Edel Herranz, APRN, provides expert primary care and cardiac care services at Island Doctors’ Medical Health Center clinics in New Smyrna Beach and DeLand, Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College in Chicago and a Master of Science in Nursing as an Acute Care Geriatric Nurse Practitioner from Walden University in Minneapolis.

Dedicated and hardworking, Edel brings extensive training in cardiac care, family medicine, and geriatric healthcare. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he is committed to building strong patient relationships through compassionate, personalized care.

Outside of his medical practice, Edel enjoys traveling and reading, continuously broadening his knowledge and perspective. He is proud to serve patients in Volusia County with a focus on quality, accessible healthcare for all ages.
