David A. Riascos, M.D., M.Sc.

Dr. David Riascos is an internal medicine physician providing comprehensive primary care for adults and seniors, with a focus on prevention, chronic disease management (hypertension, diabetes, COPD/asthma, heart disease), and same-day acute concerns. He emphasizes clear communication, practical treatment plans, and coordinated referrals when needed.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Science in Neuroscience from Universidad del Valle and completed clinical training at Hospital Pavia Yauco in Puerto Rico. In Central Florida, Dr. Riascos has served as a Primary Care Physician with InnovaCare/Orlando Family Physicians, Central Florida Medical Associates, and The Orange’s Doctors Medical Center. His academic background includes peer-reviewed research in neurodegeneration.

Dr. Riascos is licensed in Florida and Puerto Rico and maintains BLS/ACLS and DEA credentials.

He is currently seeing patients at our DeLand – Spring Garden location.
