Juan Jose Pineda Lopez, MD

Dr. Juan Jose Pineda Lopez is a highly experienced and dedicated General Practitioner, fluent in both English and Spanish, with a strong foundation in internal medicine and critical care. He will be seeing patients at our New Smyrna Beach office in Volusia County. His medical journey began in Colombia, where he earned his medical degree from Universidad de Antioquia in Medellin in 2005.

Dr. Pineda undertook various critical care roles following his education, working in emergency rooms and trauma units across Colombia. He honed his skills in airway management, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and the transport of critically ill patients. His expertise extends to surgical assistance in rural areas, with notable work in Aero-Transport services for critically ill patients.

Dr. Pineda gained valuable international experience through Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases observer ships at Florida Hospital in Orlando. He further enhanced his skills through an intensive English program at Holmes College in Brisbane, Australia. Outside of his medical career, Dr. Pineda enjoys hiking and traveling, passions that reflect his adventurous spirit and appreciation for nature.
