Erick M. Ortega, M.D.

Dr. Erick Ortega is an experienced and compassionate primary care physician with over 15 years of clinical experience spanning internal medicine, urgent care, and emergency care. He is known for his empathetic, prevention-focused approach and commitment to educating and supporting patients across all stages of life.

Dr. Ortega earned his Bachelor of Biology from Universidad Interamericana in San Germán, Puerto Rico, and his Doctor of Medicine from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. He began his career as a medical educator before transitioning into full-time clinical practice in Puerto Rico and Florida, including roles in both outpatient and hospital settings.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Ortega is dedicated to building long-term relationships with patients and delivering thoughtful, accessible care.

He is currently seeing patients at our Old Moultrie location in St. Augustine and welcomes new Medicare Advantage patients.
