Juan Cortinas, MD

Juan Cortinas, M.D. is a bilingual Internal Medicine Physician with specialized training in the diagnosis and management of chronic and complex adult medical conditions. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Dr. Cortinas has a strong background in both inpatient hospital care and outpatient primary care, treating a wide range of conditions including hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, respiratory issues, and gastrointestinal disorders. His approach to care emphasizes continuity, clear communication, and preventive strategies to support long-term wellness.

He is fully fluent in English and Spanish, and is licensed to practice medicine in Florida and Louisiana, with certifications from the DEA and Medicare. Dr. Cortinas is known for his attention to detail, collaborative style, and commitment to delivering personalized, evidence-based care.
