Mary Jane Garris, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Mary Jane Garris, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of nursing experience spanning acute care, critical care, home health, and primary care. She currently provides comprehensive, patient-centered care at Island Doctors in East Palatka, Florida.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from United States University in San Diego, graduating with honors and membership in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida.

Throughout her career, she has served in a wide range of clinical settings, including ICU, ER, progressive care units, and home health services. Her professional background includes both bedside care and leadership roles, with responsibilities in staff education, clinical supervision, and patient care coordination. Her extensive experience and dedication to evidence-based practice make her a valued resource for patients and colleagues alike.
