Omar Vázquez, M.D. is a highly experienced physician that will be seeing patients at our Marion County office in Ocala, Florida. With a medical career spanning several years across multiple healthcare settings, Dr. Vázquez is committed to delivering compassionate and comprehensive care to diverse patient populations.

Dr. Vázquez’s medical journey began with a strong educational foundation, earning his degree as a Physician and Surgeon from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. He further honed his skills during a year of supervised clinical training at New York Medical College, followed by various clinical rotations in Puerto Rico. Dr. Vázquez is certified in several advanced life support and emergency response procedures, ensuring he is well-equipped to handle various medical situations.

Dr. Vázquez is bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish. His medical interests are in preventive services, acute and chronic care, and surgical procedures. Dr. Vázquez loves exercise and travel.
