Weidong (Daniel) Su earned his Master’s degree as a Physician Assistant from Nova Southeastern University in 2011, graduating with honors. He obtained his Medical Doctor degree in China in 1992 and practiced in Radiology and Neurology for five years. In 2001, he completed a Ph.D. in Human Anatomy in Japan. He later worked at the Mayo Clinic for nine years, focusing on clinical research related to human colon and lung cancer, before becoming a certified Physician Assistant in Florida. He has passed the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 exams, and his MD degree is ECFMG-certified. He is fluent in English, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese. He is married with two daughters, and his wife works at the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center.
