Sharon Brown, APRN

Sharon Brown, APRN is a highly skilled healthcare professional with extensive experience as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Nurse Consultant. Sharon will be seeing patients at our office in St. Augustine, FL (Plantation Island). She previously served as a High Reliability Organization Leader Coach, empowering leadership teams within the Department of Veterans Affairs to improve patient safety and the quality of care. Sharon also has experience in the primary care setting, as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, where she assesses, diagnoses, and treats various conditions across different age groups and leads community wellness and prevention programs.

Previously, Sharon held significant positions within the U.S. Army, including serving as a Senior Nurse Executive at Fort Eisenhower, GA, and as Chief Nurse Executive at Fort Meade, MD. She played a pivotal role in the nursing integration transition at the New Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda. Sharon holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University. Sharon's extensive expertise and commitment to healthcare make her a valuable asset to any medical organization.
