“Hugging is the most beautiful form of communication that allows the other person to know beyond a doubt that they matter.”

 Why is hugging healthy?  The chemical changes produced by hugging can be a powerful tool for deterring the effects of age-related illnesses such as cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes and cancer.  Hugs boost dopamine, serotonin and cortisone levels.  They also strengthen the immune system and relax muscles and bodily tension.
