28 Oct Mental Health Day
“Hugging is the most beautiful form of communication that allows the other person to know beyond a doubt that they matter.”
Why is hugging healthy? The chemical changes produced by hugging can be a powerful tool for deterring the effects of age-related illnesses such as cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes and cancer. Hugs boost dopamine, serotonin and cortisone levels. They also strengthen the immune system and relax muscles and bodily tension.
