Anyone at any age can learn a new language! The benefits of learning another language are both psychological and cognitive. Switching from one language to the other activates areas of the brain responsible for executive functioning. Utilizing this part of the brain often can decrease cognitive decline and can delay the initial effects of dementia.

There are many ways to learn a new language. Duolingo, Rosetta Stone, and Babbel are just a few options to check out.
