A cardio routine helps us burn several calories and it speeds up our metabolism and helps shed body fat.  Cardio exercises improve our body mass index (BMI), lowers blood pressure, and strengthens our heart and lungs, reduces stress-hormones.  Exercise releases endorphins; which makes us feel happier.  There are several cardio workouts: walking, jogging, aerobics, cycling, running, swimming, rowing, etc.  Which is the best?  The one you enjoy the most!  If you choose an activity that you really enjoy, you’ll feel more motivated and will be more committed.  We all must start somewhere.  Here is a link for a SilverSneakers 8-minute Cardio Flow & Go exercise.
